Hi 👋 These are my feet. They’ve been with me through thick and thin 😃 I’ve had a love/hate relationship with them. They go with me everywhere, they support me. I can balance, walk, bend, flex, climb, swim and hike, lots of things . Last year I had surgery on both of them 9 months apart. The right foot in March 2019, the left foot Dec 2019. It was elective surgery but really it was to alleviate years of pain. I had a bunion on the big toe ball joint of both feet. It’s genetic, the women in our family get them. For years I tried all the alternatives to surgery (I had never been put under anesthesia). But nothing can stop your genetic destiny 😉 I lived with the pain and swelling until it was so unbearable I did the surgery. I was scared of all the things that could go wrong, after all, I use my feet for a living. I’m barefoot most of the time, or wearing tennis shoes. Twenty years of teaching and taking yoga and pilates is great for your heath and well being but the feet...not so much 😳 . These are my beautiful feet, 50 years of living, these beautiful scars, they carry me from one place to another. I can still practice yoga and pilates, I am still rehabbing them, I can still do all the things I did before but now, mostly pain free. Pilates Prop Free 🌟🔥💗 * Swipe ⬅️ to see all of them 🙌😀 * 1️⃣Reverse 4 Points/Pelvic Lift 2️⃣Reverse 4 Ponits/ Pelvic Lif + One Leg Stretch 3️⃣Leg Pull Back+ Spine Stretch 4️⃣Fore-Arms Plank/ Swinging-Triceps 5️⃣V-Sit- Arms Lift 6️⃣Dimond Abs+ Side One Leg Stretch 7️⃣Lower Abs 8️⃣Glam+One Leg Stretch to teaser 9️⃣Shouder Bridge Flow * Realiza 10-12 rep de cada ejercicio lento y controlado, enfócate en la forma, no hagas movimientos bruscos, busca la fluidez, mantén la pelvis estable, si no puedes hacer todas las repeticiones manteniendo la forma, es mejor que hagas menos, después de cada ejercicio descansa unos 10-15 seg con estiramientos suaves y repite el mismo, luego pasa al siguiente. El ejercicio 9️⃣ es un flow con diferentes variaciones de Shoulder Bridge, haz toda la secuencia fluida con 3-4 rep de cada una de las las variaciones y repítelo 3 veces.
