WHY HAVING A FITNESS ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER CAN HELP YOU REACH YOUR FITNESS GOALS! Whether it's your husband, partner, friend, trainer, coach or a girl you met in the gym, it pays to have a fitness accountability partner! But if you choose a friend / partner / your husband - make sure they will be brutally honest with you & hold you accountable, & not just let you off or tell you what you want to hear for fear of hurting your feelings. You need to set the rules from the beginning that you will both hold each other accountable, be honest with each other, not let each other off, & push each other to success. At the end of the week, you'll want to document your progress & share it with your accountability partner, I suggest using the below measures: ✅ Taking front, back & side check-in photos in the same lighting, angles & time of day ✅ Waist, hips, thigh, shoulder & butt measurements ✅ Weight (don't get caught up on this though - just because the number doesn't change or it goes in th opposite direction doesn't mean you're not making progress!) ✅ How you feel mood, hunger & energy wise ✅ Strength in the gym ✅ Diet compliance BENEFITS OF HAVING AN ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER: 1️⃣ You'll feel more motivated to train & keep your diet in check, as you don't want to let your accountability partner or have a bad check in at the end of the week! 2️⃣ They'll always be in your corner to push you & support you when you need it. 3️⃣ Training & diet won't feel like a chore, it will be more fun & more like a an exciting challenge when you have your end of week check in to look forward to! 4️⃣ Documenting your progress means you'll be able to see the changes in terms of photos, measurements, weight or other metrics (above). Sometimes, week on week you think you haven't changed but when you conpare over a 4, 8, 12 week period or more that's when you can really see it! 5️⃣ You're both helping each other reach your goals & being each other's support system which is SO important when working towards any goal - not just your fitness goals! So, do you have an accountability partner? Who? If not, I encourage you to find one today to help you get closer to your fitness goals!
