This time last year, I had no idea what this journey would bring. All I knew was that I felt like I was drowning. I felt like I was going to die from physical things that were happening which turned out to be my body's release of anxiety. I felt like I needed a change. I knew I needed a change physically but I needed a reevaluation of my life, as well. It's not perfect. I'm not perfect but I can promise I'm doing the best that I can and it's ok. Hardwork does pay off 🔥⁣ ⁣ 🔵 On the left I was around 97 kgs and the pic to the right I am about 82 Kgs. I lost 15 kgs by working out 💪 at home and eating healthy🥗.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 🔵 Was this a 7 day process or a 7 week process? Nope! It took time, about 7 months, but great things take time right? 😇⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 🔵 Losing weight is very simple, actually after achieving this feat I feel achieving anything in life is simple. You just got to make up your mind and do it. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 🔵 Now it's simple alright, but not easy. You've got to put in the hard work. I used to do HIIT everyday and even stopped eating processed food, something that I used to love🙈. I could eat an entire medium cheese burst dominos pizza 🍕 and then even have 3 slices more from my friend's pizza. I didn't stop there. I would go home and eat what was prepared at home too. Those were the days😅. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 🔵 Well, I had to throw away my bad habits and inculcate new ones. I started eating clean and working out everyday. So basically it was hard but not impossible. I loved the process and I could see the changes every day and that was my motivation. 💪⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 🔵 The objective of this post is not to brag but to show you that if I can do it you can too. Have I reached my goal yet? No, there is a long way to go. A whole lifetime! It's not the destination that's important, it's the journey, and I'm loving each and every part of it. Geht doch! 🔝Am Samstag mit Phase 1 neu begonnen, seit Montag Phase 2 ohne Öl und zack sind die ersten 3,3 kg weg. Ein wunderbares Gefühl - so leicht, vorallem so „leicht im Kopf“. Dazu kein Gefühl von Aufgeblähtheit mehr, generell ist meine Laune trotz Bürostress direkt besser und es ist mehr Energie da. Und by the way... die komischen Gelüste die jeder kennt sind auch weg. I love #transformationtuesday ! But I especially love the fact that I just shoved like 4 chocolate chip cookies in my mouth before posting this 😂 I’m still the same person. I still love to eat good, but I also move a lot more these days. Don’t stress yourself too much about the quarantine weight gain, we will be settling back to normal soon. A question I get asked on a regular basis... . “Do you run the entire distance?” . Simple answer: No . And then I get a shocked look 😳 . Many of you whom are starting out feel that you need to run the entire distance that you have set out to do. . This can be tough. . And when it becomes tough you start to get despondent. . Getting despondent is dangerous. . You may see all these pictures on social media of runners running ALL the time. . You then feel the pressure to do the same. . What you don’t know. Many of us speed up when we see the photographer 😂 . Some even gooi a jump. . A huge majority of us non elite athletes do take walk breaks. . Well I know that I do. . Jeeeez, there are even days that I walk on a 5km run. . If you are starting out, I urge you to start slow. . Why? . So that you can enjoy it and not become despondent. . Yo so I think there’s a lot to be said about trusting the process. . I’ve struggled with this in both business and fitness goals I’ve had in the past. . So caught up with who I want to be in the future and where I want to be that I get unhappy now. . But the real catch I’ve learned is that if we don’t learn to enjoy the now, and the journey, we won’t ever fully be happy. . Cause once you reach one goal, you’ll set another; and another, .
