What works for you when it comes to eating healthy?! For me, it’s throwing last nights leftovers into a bowl with my favorite veggies and nourishing foods! 💚 With less time on my hands now with a little one 👶🏼, this is one thing that works for me. Finding what works for you can make living the healthy lifestyle you want that much easier 🙌🏻 Here I have dark leafy greens, romaine lettuce, carrots, tomato, avocado, feta cheese, roasted red potatoes, bbq chicken thigh strips, and balsamic dressing. Happy Tuesday! #alyssakayle

this, with a side of @caamp & a cup of decaf coffee if I’m feeling a little crazy ☀️
multigrain toast, whipped cream cheese, wild caught lox and local scallions baby. happy saturday 🤸🏼♂️
sometimes it’s a struggle for me to make a filling breakfast because i usually just crave a carbs in the morning. I never understood why that was until recently —> carbs are our body’s preferred source of energy because they break down the quickest into glucose compared to protein and fat. SO, when you wake up after (hopefully) 8 hours of sleep, your body is naturally going to crave the nutrient that will “break” the “fast” the quickest 💡💡💡 science is cool!!!
adding lox and eggs (not pictured) to my morning breakfast for some protein and healthy fats has become my go-to, and I’m not mad about it

When I shared my Paleo Coffee Cake a few weeks ago, I joked that I should really call it “Matcha Cake” because I don’t really drink coffee anymore! The conversation inspired me to create a MATCHA version.. 🍵🤗
