When was the last time you evaluated your 10 year plan?
Forget social media for a second. Forget all the Netflix shows. Forget the podcasts, the Spotify/Apple Music, what your family tells you. Forget all the variables that may have swayed you to believing what you need, just for a second.
What is it 𝐘𝐎𝐔 want out of life?
Given everyone’s different circumstances, along with the this whole widespread quarantine, I’m not in a position to judge anyone’s choices. I respect and admire what you have to sacrifice 🙏🏽.
BUT if you are in a position to create that future you’ve been dreaming of, WHY AREN’T YOU?
The door is unlocked.
Bryce Harper showing off some outfield skills. The first couple of steps after repositioning the body should be hard and quick. After those first few steps, he has to determine how much effort will be needed to meet the ball in the air.
Speed, quickness & open field movement skills are a necessity when playing in the outfield.
Outfield drills should prepare athletes for all the situations they may encounter during a live game. Some of those situations may include, balls being hit over the head, balls being hit in the gap, and misreading balls.
Outfielders much like defensive backs need to be able to react quickly and cover ground while the ball is in the air. They have to be able to open their hips and use their feet to get to their destination with speed and a high level of body control. Sometimes its just about developing better movement skills vs. sports/position specific skills in order to help atheltes succeed.
