[ESP👇🏽] In 2023 I experienced many events that changed my life forever. I carried my daughter Ona in my womb, who accompanied me on adventures and trips around the world. I can't summarize so many experiences in one post, but here are some of my favorites:
1: In February we received with my friend and writer
@jwbartlett92 one of the best news of my career; National Geographic will support the continuation of 5 new chapters of my long-term project, UNDERLAND, which documents communities living in caves around the world.
2: At 7 months pregnant, I documented a new chapter of UNDERLAND in Tunisia. In 2024 we will do new chapters!
3:
@lomattacultural and
@cristina_alemparte_fotografia invited me to exhibit UNDERLAND; a journey through life underground - consisting of 80 photographs from 4 countries.
4: I documented for National Geographic the chilling story about fast fashion going to die in Chile's Atacama Desert. Edit by
@dominiqueanneh The printed version will be publish in April 2024!
5: Together with
@ayunfotografas we developed a beautiful project about Maternal Health published in
@spiegelmagazin edit by

6. I did a story about the ‘Coffee with legs’ inside Chile’s antiquated cafe culture. Edit by Jim Hedge
7. I documented for National Geographic Magazine the impact of global warming on Chilean glaciers and the surrounding communities. The story was published in the September issue with the amazing edit of
@maurafriedman
8. We flew, sailed and walked on millenary ice, which disappear and transform every day.
9. In October our daughter Ona came earthside. Amidst love, tears and laughter she was born in a magical birth in our home, just as we had dreamed.
10: The story about a Mapuche community in the Chilean Araucanía, published in
