I can’t believe I was on the iconic Tonight Show! If you missed it, click the link in our bio to watch it on The Tonight Show YouTube channel. Now for the cool part. @jimmyfallon has been using our seasonings for years. He told me he loves my videos and thinks I am funny! I love Jimmy Fallon because he is immensely talented and very funny. One of the most famous cast members of SNL telling me I was funny is something I’ll never forget! I had so much fun cooking with @blackthought . Another insanely talented human! Our “Open Faced Tator Tot & Queso Burrito with a Beef Rib Topper” won @questlove ’s heart. I have to say we want another shot at the Golden Chicken Wing after a little confusion on the ballot. ;) Thank you to everyone on @fallontonight team for treating @traciepittman and I so well. It was truly the experience of a lifetime! The entire crew were the most gracious and accommodating team that I have ever worked alongside. @keeganmichaelkey is funny as heck, so getting to spend some time with him backstage is something I’ll never forget either. It was VERY cool to share the stage with my brother @wdurney . Naturally he lined us up for an amazing dinner with fantastic wines afterwards at @jupiter.newyork , so we could enjoy the evening together with our family and friends. When in New York you MUST visit @hometownbarbque & @redhooktavernbk ! A holiday meal for former President George W. Bush and family. I’ve taken so long to post this, because it meant so much to me and I didn’t really know what to say. Yesterday I got a handwritten letter in the mail from the former President. I knew it was time. I get the opportunity to cook for a lot of really cool people. I often get asked who I want to cook for. If you know me, you know the answer has been George W. Bush for as long as I can remember. Why George W. Bush? @traciepittman and I met working in the stock market business. I was watching TV when the 2nd plane hit. I just always thought the President had the hardest job in the world leading our country during that time. Our country was so unified for those years. Plus, the Bush family lives in DFW and he is a big Rangers guy. He is all things Texas, so this Texan wanted to cook for him. I got call in late November. I couldn’t believe it was finally happening. I was told this would be a Holiday meal for the former President, his wife, their 2 daughters and their families at his ranch in Crawford. They ordered basically everything I offered. I don’t get nervous, but I did this time. I couldn’t sleep the night before. I didn’t even know if we were going to meet him. I took the time to write him a letter telling him how much this opportunity meant to me. Tracie and I loaded up and drove to their ranch in Crawford, TX. About 30 minutes out I got a text that he was going to meet us. We pulled up, I took 2 steps out of the vehicle and here comes a Ranger driven by the man himself with Laura at his side. They hopped out and gave us the most hospitable greeting with hugs. The former President helped me carry in and unload all of our food. They asked if we wanted to go on a tour of the ranch. So off we went on a ride in the only “vehicle” he has driven since 1993. It was the coolest ride talking baseball, mountain biking, his art and stopping to meet his family on the ride. When he dropped us off, the last thing he said to me was, “If you are cooking for Dak Prescott, you need to be cooking for George Bush!” Thank you for the opportunity #43 . I hope there is a next time!

Smoked Honey & Brown Sugar Glazed Ham. Your super simple Easter Recipe (MeatChurch.com recipe link in bio). “Double smoked hams” are the cheapest and simpliet things you will ever make. I bought a fully cooked, spiral sliced ham for under $25 and hammerered it with our Honey Hog seasoning. Texas Sugar, Gospel, Honey Hog or Voodoo are also good choices. I inserted a @meatermade Meater 2+ and smoked it with hickory on a @traegergrills Timberline XL with hickory at 250 until it hit 140 (3:15 hours for this 9 lb). Around 100 I made a glaze with 1C Traeger Honey & Brown Sugar Glaze, 2 C brown sugar and ½ C pineapple juice in a @hestanculinary pot on the induction burner of the Traeger. I basted several times from 110 - 140. Crazy delicious accoring to my kids and easy! Cheesy Pull-Apart Meatball Sliders off the @traegergrills . Click the link in our bio get the MeatChurch.com recipe with a full how-to YouTube video. • Make homemade meatballs with ground beef, sweet Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, garlic & herb, etc and cook them in the Traeger for 20 mins at 425°. • Layer the bottom half of a 12 pack of @kingshawaiian sweet rolls with mozzarella cheese, meatballs, marina, more cheese and top the tops of the buns with melted garlic butter. • Go back into the Traeger for 5 minutes until the cheese is melty. FREE Cheesy Pull-Apart Meatball Sliders & Draft Beer at my BBQ Supply Shop today - @meatchurchbbqsupply The MeatChurch.com recipe with a full how-to YouTube video is available at the link in our bio, but here are the basics of this delicious and fun sandwich. • I made homemade meatballs with ground beef, sweet Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, garlic & herb, etc and cooked them in the @traegergrills for 20 mins at 425. • I layered the bottom half of a 12 pack of @kingshawaiian sweet rolls with mozzarella cheese, meatballs, marina, more cheese and topped the tops of the buns with melted garlic butter. • That went back into the Traeger for 5 minutes until the cheese was melty. How many likes can a salad get? I feel like this BLANCO salad should get a bunch. Meat Church Ambassador @bbqwithboterman is always making me hungry! Repost • @bbqwithboterman Some days you have to work a salad in. On those days go big! Here is a @snakeriverfarms Wagyu Bavette salad with ricotta stuffed cherry peppers, tossed in @jimmysdressings sweet and sour dressing (it is incredible and doesn’t taste like sweet and sour sauce, I’d call it a sweet vinaigrette) and then topped with crispy onions, feta, cherry tomatoes, sweet onions and 18 year aged balsamic. The steak was rubbed with @meatchurch Blanco. I also added Blanco into the ricotta cheese mixture. Grab some of these steaks from @northernfirebbq .
