So, I ran the NYC Marathon. To be real I never ran more than a mile in my life before I started training for this race & I only had 8 weeks to train 😂. 10yrs ago, I was diagnosed with cancer, and I decided to start this new decade of my life with positive milestones. I want to do things I never thought I’d be able to do like start a charity, build a cancer center, move to a new city, & run a marathon. The @nycmarathon was really special to me because I ran it for my charity @hihfycharity , alongside my brother, and with @newbalancerunning (the same brand of shoes my dad used to run the same marathon in before he passed away). It was a way for me to prove to myself that if my body could beat cancer, it could also run a marathon… And I was right. Trust me…if I can do it…you can as well. 💙#tcsnycmarathon#runyourway
If my body can beat cancer…my body can run a marathon. I’m beyond thankful for this second life I get to live. “run harry run”

When I was 20 I was diagnosed with cancer & on my first day of chemo I was given this advice from another patient who unfortunately passed away soon after. It will forever stick with me. Remember, tomorrow isn’t promised & everyday is truly meaningful. If you have the ability to journal about your days, your feelings, all the good & the bad ones, I recommend you do so cause one day you may wake up and forget everything. 🤍🙏
