We are thrilled to share that we've made it on the @MuseumsandHeritage Awards Partnership of the Year shortlist. 📝 🤝 Our entry 'Inspire, create and exchange: fostering positive mental health in young people through heritage' focuses on the partnership that we have forged with Hampshire CAMHS during the life of the ICE Project, with particular emphasis on ICE Heritage, which came to a close in 2023. The ceremony takes place on Wednesday 15 May in London. Wish us luck! #MandHAwards2024

Open today at The Arc, Winchester! Multi-award-winning artist Grayson Perry returns to The Gallery with the The Essex House Tapestries. The two large textile pieces designed by Royal Academician Perry bring the cataclysmically commonplace tale of Julie Cope to life. These works are a testament to Perry’s skill as a storyteller and craftsman. No detail is superfluous and every thread contributes to a compelling narrative, making these pieces endlessly engaging. Come and explore these monumental works and discover the tragic yet uplifting myth of Julie Cope, an Essex everywoman and humble heroine who fell afoul of a rocky upbringing and a malignant moped. The exhibition runs until the 12th of June. To find out more and book tickets visit the link in our bio.
