Last article of 2022 for my column #InvisibleWomen published by @htbrunch !
Anyone who knows me well knows how much I love to write. I got lucky enough this year to become HT Brunch’s youngest columnist, writing about women & gender issues - an area I care about deeply.
Coming up with topics, writing articles on a deadline, and producing work I am actually proud to put out there has been a never ending challenge. That being said, this is without a doubt one of the most rewarding opportunities. Looking forward to next year! Please help recommend topics and DM me your feedback ❤️🧿‼️
Happy New Year!!
In conversation with economist, Hasan Guliyev, about Baku’s economic development and future challenges for @yngmumbai at the Nobel Brother’s home, Villa Petrolea 🇦🇿
Thank you for these pictures @piyush_tanpure 🥰🙏🏽
Given everything happening in Gaza, in Ukraine, in Yemen, in Sudan, in Myanmar, and in places & parts of the world I haven’t followed or read about, this message stuck with me.
Living in India, in the comfort and safety of my home, might have resulted in my silence on issues I am either ignorant about or unaffected by. This is a small step towards amending that because silence in the face of bigotry and discrimination is a form of complicity, after all.
late celebration for my favorite @cathyguo2 birthday in Bangkok with Coldplay!
you’re such a special human & ilysm - forever grateful for @studhanshu for making our paths cross. ♥️
didn’t see any big cats this trip, but got so much quality time with my bestest friend ♥️🧿
we started our trip by visiting the Khajuraho Temples, built between the 9th and 12th centuries under the Chandela Dynasty. the temples were hidden away by the surrounding forest for years and were eventually discovered in 1818 and restored in 1852. Khajuraho was declared a UNESCO site in 1986.
Khajuraho is an hour away from the Panna Tiger Reserve which is where we went after 🥰✌🏼 there was a point in the last two decades (i can’t remember the dates!) when Panna had no tigers. tigers were reintroduced in Panna - they started with only 7/8 tigers when the project began. according to our naturalist, there are more than 65 tigers in Panna now 👏🏼🌟 plus the forest is stunning!
