2 years ago today, I was in Cuba avoiding this day in America. This year I got no choice but to be here. And Yes, I’m grateful I get to have been born here and have the rights I have because of it but NONE OF THAT changes the fact that Breonna Taylor’s murderers still aren’t arrested, black people are being lynched in 2020, white women are pulling guns on black people in public and getting no consequences for it, white pastors are saying wild things from their public platforms, kids are still in cages on the border, and so much more. I pray that one day we’ll get to celebrate true freedom for our country - not freedom from independence from another country but freedom of independence from a dark kingdom that seems to be taking reign in our world. God be glorified above all and keep talking about black lives mattering cause I ain’t see nothing change but y’all’s Instagram feed going back to normal 🥴 #blacklivesSTILLmatter #weareTIRED
