Finding your path Finding your style . It can be tough to figure out what it is that we want to do for the rest of our life. But then, we don't have to do one single thing forever. To live is to explore! . I've often been asked to find a niche in the art that I do, in order to increase the audience and gain expertise. "So, which medium do you specialize in?" It doesn't sound believable when I say I am decently good in a lot of mediums. So, I randomly pick one as answer everytime I am asked. . However, I kept trying to stick to just one medium to go by the norms already set - finding your niche. First, it was soft pastels, then acrylics and then watercolors. Every time I tried a new medium, I fell in love all over again. . With Gouache, I finally realised, I am not gonna stick to one. I feel lucky to be able to do well with various mediums. So, I am gonna explore them all. I am an artist. Medium is just a tool. :) . For the love of Gouache! Feels like I missed a whole world of things I could have done with this... Never too late though! .
