4 hours apart, this is what Rosacea looks like, the second skin condition I’ve almost overcome🌻 I wanted to share, what it is, how I got it and how I’ve almost finished curing myself so I can try help you or educate others to normalise this red raw complexion. 🌈 First of all; Rosacea isn’t what “old people get with a red nose” there’s 5 main types of Rosacea and other subtypes; - Erythematotelangiectatic Rosacea - Papulopustular Rosacea - Phymatous Rosacea (the one you’ve probably seen more regularly) - Granulomatous Rosacea - Ocular Rosacea My diagnosis two years ago was Papulopustular Rosacea or just “Acne Rosacea” & you’ve probably heard about how that went down mid 2018 on my YouTube *if not, it’s in my bio* My treatment plan was medication for the acne I was told my Rosacea was incurable.. Mine wasn’t & isn’t, I’ve gone from daily severe flare ups, aversion to heat, severe burning & not being able to be in a room without a window or fan on to getting a flare up occasionally once a week for an hour or so that I can nail down to exactly what food has triggered it. So that’s where I get to “how I got it” With everything in life there’s different reasons why we each experience just shitty things like Rosacea. Maybe; - you’re genetically predisposed - you’re suffering with skin mites (demedex) - you had underlying severe inflammation that found a trigger and Rosacea is how it shows it’s angry head. - you have gut issues, specifically SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) leaky gut or an IBS diagnosis, Dr Myers shared her research that people with Rosacea are 45% more likely to have SIBO. - you have built up emotions, anger, resentment, guilt, or self loathing. (I’ll talk more about this in the video) Whatever it is, I’m a true believer that if our body got itself into this mess, it can get its self out, with the right tools. Today > exactly 2 years ago & every phase in between, healing is not linear! 🙏🏽 From the 2nd swipe to the last that’s my skin from its worst, then now it’s best, then all the in between to now in order.. To all the beautiful girls that dm me; “I’ve had a flare up again” “One thing improves and another thing gets worse” “My skin will clear and a week later it’s back to how it was” “I feel so deflated” “I just don’t think it will ever get better” This post is for you, for the girls struggling with their skin, chronic illness, auto immune disorders, extreme stress, hormonal problems, this post is for you, to tell you healing is not linear, healing is complex, no one will ever understand how exhausting, how emotionally draining & how discouraging it can be so I’m here to tell you I get it. My skin is FINALLY in a really happy place, my acne finally cleared and then my Rosacea went CRAZY, I lost it “why is it always one thing after another?” When the body is truly healing, it’ll heal something that will clear out ready for the next thing until the root of the problem is addressed. Skin can definitely; - get worse before it gets better - improve then get worse repeatedly until it settles - change with medication, herbs, stress levels, detox’s, if you’re clearing out your body remember there will be an affect on your skin, your skin is a detox organ. 🙏🏽 My skin went from the second post to the third post in a year, using natural remedies & working on my mental health. Then from post 3 to the last post that’s all in the last year... CLEAR, break out, different kind of break out, swollen eyelids, (swollen belly I’ll include in other posts), the worst Rosacea I’ve ever had & then today, happy & healthy because I finally got to the root of the problem so just know I’m here for all of you. I’m studying this sh** because I have fire in my belly to help as many of you as I can deal with chronic illness and chronic symptoms. It look me a long time to get here, at home in my body. 🌸 For most of my life I felt completely detached to this vessel I now call my home. Partly because of the chronic symptoms that made me think that she was broken Partly because of the critique in the back of my head that tended to put her down and partly because of the inner child that never got the chance to connect to her natural rhythms. Returning home has been a journey but, one I would do time & time again. What I learnt was there’s 3 foundations I needed to come back to & I look forward to sharing them with you. These three foundations grounded me in this truth; The female body, flowing to an infradian rhythm, mirroring the moon is not similar to Mother Earth, she is her and like a flower that moves through the seasons of death and rebirth we must honor her seasons too. This truth taught me 🌱 - Those chronic symptoms were actually ‘chronic communication’ a body trying desperately to get me to listen and connect the dots, because everything is connected. - I was putting her down on her ‘bad days’ her ‘weight shifting days’, ‘her breakout days’ but I wouldn’t put a flower down when it started to droop, call the earth ugly because the grass wouldn’t grow or cut down a tree because it shed its leaves. I would ask, how can I help you, what do you need? - As for my inner child, that 14 year old Georgia, well, I taught her the power in her cycle & the depth of being a woman. Love, Georgia

2022>2024 healing & returning home to my body. Fast forward 10 months later and I was completely clear & pain free. Either picking herbs or crushing outfits at this point 👇🏽 Just a reminder to anyone that feels like they’re “in between worlds” maybe they’re working their main job and side hustling another, maybe those worlds don’t collide or even make any sense to anyone else… Good news, they don’t have to, all that needs to make sense is that they make sense to you, they fuel you and are in your life for now for a purpose. You can simultaneously crush two things, if you manage your energy, your learning and optimize your work & rest. This isn’t hustle culture this is time & energy discipline. I no longer have energy for pure energy takers and time wasters. Replacing that time with opportunity to learn and grow. I don’t know how long I’ll continue to model for but right now it serves a creative and financial part of my life which allows me the tools to serve those in my herbal medicine business to my greatest capacity. What a gift. I felt so torn for so long like “people won’t understand this transition” and yes it makes no sense to so many people but it makes sense to me and most of all the clients who come to see me. So, follow your heart, do what you love, don’t worry about fitting into someone’s box, you can be a pole dancing accountant, a reiki master police officer, you can be a singer song writer engineer. Your life doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else but you. 🫶🏽❤️🔥
